I've lived here for 26 years and can not remember the metro area of Albuquerque ever being hammered like this. Over a foot of snow has fallen in some parts of town and they're projecting as much as 2-3 feet in the east mountains! Here's a radar image at 7:10 am from the weather service - it looks almost identical to what they showed on the news last night. This storm just isn't moving.

It's snowing here in Albuquerque - second storm in as many weeks. Looking at a few inches to a foot here. Denver got hammered again - up to 28 inches west of the city and their "storm-proof" airport is closed agin with more than 500 flights canceled so far. (photo by by my wife Sue)
